In Wichita a jury ruled unanimous that Dr. Tiller was not guilty of illegal late term abortion. He was charged with 19 misdemeanor charges for allegedly violating a state law requiring an independent second physicians concurring opinion before preforming late term abortions. This is a subject that gets alot of media attention. I believe that a woman shoud have the right to have the choice to terminate a pregancy if there is a medical reason or a rape. There is a need for children for adoption and that could be filled with the unwanted children that surivie the choice. I also believe that the father should have a right in the saying. It is true that he doesn't ahve to carry the baby and go through the process but it did take him produce the baby in question. I think if the father is willing to take care of the baby that the mother shoud step up and keep the pregancy and terminat her rights when the baby is born so the father can take care of the baby.
